NERİK, HAKMİŠ VE YAKIN ÇEVRESİNİN LOKALİZASYONU HAKKINDA

Özet

Hitit devletinin kurulduğu ilk dönemlerden itibaren topraklarının genişletilmesi, askeri faaliyetler ile sağlanmış, antlaşmalar, fermanlar ve buyruklarla da devletin hâkimiyet alanı güçlendirilmek istenmiştir. Bu politikalar özellikle Kuzey Anadolu'da, Hitit d e v l e t i n i n A n a d o l u ' d a v a r l ı ğ ı n ı g ö s t e r m e s i i l e b a ş l a y a n , K a š k a çekişmeleri/anlaşmazlıkları açısından bir çözüm getir(e)memiştir. Nerik ile Hakmiš, devletin kuzey bölgesi yerleşim yerleri arasında en önemli statüye sahip kentler arasındadır. Araştırmamız, her iki kentin ve çiviyazılı metinlerde bu kentlerle ilgili geçen bölgenin coğrafyası ve lokalizasyonu üzerinedir.

Abstract

From the early years of the Hittite state, the Hittites succeeded in expanding their territories by military activities and aimed to strengthen the dominance of the state by treaties, edicts and decrees. These policies did not provide a solution for Kaška conicts/disputes that started with the appearance of the Hittite state in Anatolia, especially in Northern Anatolia. Nerik and Hakmiš were among the most important cities in the northern part of the Hittite homeland. This study explores the geography and localization of these two cities and region of these cities in cuneiform texts.
