Abstract

Larsen Syndrome is a rare autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive patterns of inheritance syndrome in which collagenproduction is impaired; accompanied by multiple congenital dislocations of joints, vertebral instability and typical facialabnormalities. In this case report, we aimed to discuss the characteristics of the anesthetic management in patients with Larsensyndrome, as many anomalies can accompany. A patient with Larsen Syndrome who underwent adenoidectomy and tympanic ventilation tube application under general anesthesia is presented. Following sevoflurane induction, the patient was intubated in neutralposition uneventfully. The patient was extubated at the end of the operation and admitted to recovery room, after a 45 minutesfollow-up he was discharged to the intensive care unit for postoperative intensive care. The patient had an uneventful 24 hours inthe intensive care unit and discharged home on the first postoperative day
