Özet
Türkiyat Enstitüsü, 1924 yılında İstanbul Darülfünûnu Edebiyat Fakültesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulmuş ve müdürlüğüne de Mehmet Fuad Köprülü tayin edilmiştir. Enstitü, kendi adıyla anılan ve toplam 20 ciltten oluşan Türkiyat Mecmuası’nı muhtelif fasılalarla 1925-1996 yılları arasında yayımlamış, 1927’den 1945’e kadar 26 adet kitap neşretmiş ve 1973-1987 yılları arasında da altısı uluslararası, sekizi millî olmak üzere toplam 14 Türkoloji Kongresi tertip etmiştir.
Abstract
The Institute of Turcology was established in 1924 in connection with the Faculty of Arts at Istanbul Darülfünun followed by the appointment of Mehmed Fuad Köprülü as its director. The institute issued the twenty volumes of Türkiyat Mecmuası in between 1925-1996, it published twenty-six books from 1927 to 1945 and finally, it organized fourteen Turcology congresses in between 1973-1987, six of them being international and eight national
