Özet

Platon, kendi felsefi sistemi bağlamında hem kitleye dayanan çoğunluğun iktidarını hem de tek bir kişinin kişiselleşmiş iktidarını, psikolojik ve siyasal-kültürel boyutlarıyla çözümleyen ilk felsefecidir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı da Platon’un demokrasi ve tiranlık rejimlerinin doğasını tasvir eden ilk entelektüel kaynak olma ayrıcalığını taşıyan açıklamalarını onun genel felsefi sisteminden hareketle ve tarihsel-toplumsal bağlamı içine yerleştirerek analiz edebilmektir. Bu çalışmanın önemi ise, Platon’un rejimler sınıflandırmasında en kötü yönetimler olarak nitelendirdiği ve en sert şekilde eleştirdiği, demokrasi ve tiranlık rejimlerini, akıl ve arzu kavramlarından hareketle analiz edebilmektir

Abstract

Plato is the first philosopher to analyze both the power of the majority based on mass and the personalized power of a single person in the context of his philosophical system through their psychological and political-cultural dimensions. The main purpose of this study is to analyze Plato’s explanations, which are privileged to be the first intellectual source describing the nature of the regimes of democracy and tyranny, based on his general philosophical system and in the historical-social context. The importance of this study is to analyze the regimes of democracy and tyranny, which Plato described as the worst administrations in the classification of regimes and criticized them most severely, in the light of the concepts of mind and desire.
