Özet
Türkiye’de 2012 yılında eğitim sisteminde yapılan köklü değişikliklerle birlikte örgün genel eğitimde 2012-2013 öğretim yılında seçmeli din eğitimi dersleri okutulmaya başlandı. Çalışmamızın amacı; lise ve ortaokullarda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin seçmeli din eğitimi derslerini seçerkenki motivasyon ve beklentilerini, derslerin ilk yılının ardından memnuniyet düzeylerini, derslerden edindikleri kazanımlara ve din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi dersi ile farklılaşan noktalara dair algı- larını belirlemektir. Bu amaçla Zonguldak ili merkezinde sosyoekonomik çevre ve öğrencilerinin başarı durumları dikkate alınarak belirlenen dört ortaokul ve üç lisede öğrenim gören 340 öğrenciyle anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda öğrencilerin çok büyük kısmının dersleri kendi ilgi ve istekleri doğrultusunda; dinlerini daha iyi öğrenmek ve daha ahlaklı bir insan olmak beklentisi ile tercih ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin derslerden memnuniyet düzeyleri yüksektir. Ancak içerik ve öğretim materyalleri açısından özellikle ortaöğretimde ve akademik düzeyi yüksek öğrencilerde beklentileri karşılamada yetersiz kalındığı anlaşılmıştır.

Evaluation of Religion, Morals and Values Field Elective Courses according to the Student’s OpinionsWith the drastic changes in the education system in Turkey in 2012 elective courses of religious education started to be taught in formal general education in academic year 2012-2013. The aim of the study, to determine the motivation and expectation of secondary and high school students when choosing the elective * Yrd. Doç. For this purpose, taking into account the socio-economic and academic criteria, a survey of 340 students in the four secondary schools and three high schools at the center of the Zonguldak Province was conducted. As a result we identified that vast majority of the students chose the courses in accordance with their own interests and desires, to learn about their religion and to be more moral person. Satisfaction level of the students is high. However, to meet the expectations of students especially in secondary education and a high level of academic is insufficient in terms of content and teaching materials.
