Özet
Horman tatbiki neticesi hayvanlarda vücut ağırlıklarında artımlannhusule geldiği uzun zamandan beri bilinmektedir.Hexoestrol preparatı olan STERİLETTEN (R) ile yapmış olduğumuzdenemelerde kıymetli sonuçlar almış bulunuyoruz.Denemelenınizde 3 haftalık kontrolleri ile beraber 12 dişi 12 erkekpiliç kullanılmış neticede : 5 haftalık deneme sonucunda hexoestroltransplante edilmiş erkek piliçlerde ağırlık artımı % 36 dişi piliçlerdeise %. 25 olmuştur.Bütün 'bu başarılı neticelere rağmen hexoestrol ile beslenmişhayvanların etlerinin yenmesi sonucu istenmiyen her hangi bir yantesirin husule gelip gelmiyeceğinin ayrıca tetkike değer bir konu olduğunu unutmamak lazımdır.
Abstract
It has always been a fact known throughout ages that wheninoculated hormones animals get fat.We have obtained invalu3ible results in tests carried out byusing STERILETTEN (R), a Hexoestrol preparate.12 male and 12 female chicks - suıbjected to te-sts for three,weeks running - were test screened and at the end of a fiveweekstest period weight increases in male and female chicks that wereHexoestol transplanted w ere o/o 36 and % 25 respectively. It should not be forgotten, however, that despite tıhese promising results the question of whether meat from these Hexoestrol - fed chick•s ıs safe to eat remains to be yet studied.
