KİNDÎ’NİN DÜȘÜNCESİSTEMİNDE MÜZİKALSESLERLE ÂLEMDEKİ DÜZENARASINDAKİ İLİȘKİ

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MUSICAL SOUNDS AND COSMIC ORDER IN THE ALKINDÎ’S THOUGHT SYSTEM

Özet

İslâm düşüncesinde mûsikîye dair eserleri günümüze ulaşan ilk müellif Kindî’dir (ö. 252/866?). Filozof, mûsikî ile ilgili on adet eser telif etmiş, ancak dört tanesi günümüze ulaşmıştır. Onun düşünce sisteminde mûsikî, kosmosun bir ifadesidir. Ona göre âlemde mükemmel bir düzen vardır. Kindî, âlemin mükemmel düzenini tek bir şahıs gibi düşünerek insan organizması ile mukayese etmektedir. Kindî, âlemdeki mükemmel düzen ile mûsikîdeki seslerin uyumu arasında bir ilişki kurmuş, mûsikî âletlerinin özelliklerini ve mûsikî sanatına özgü ritim, nağme gibi kavramları kozmolojiden, yani gök cisimlerinden, maddî âlemden ve insan organizmasından birtakım örneklerle açıklamıştır. Bu makalede onun düşünce sisteminde müzikal seslerle âlemdeki düzen arasındaki kurduğu ilişki ele alınacaktır.

Abstract

The first author whose works related to music in the Islamic thought are available today is al-Kindî. The philosopher wrote ten books on music; however, only four of them have reached the day. Music is the way cosmos expresses itself according to Kindî’s system of thought. According to him, the universe has a perfect order. He also considers the universe like a human being and compares it to human organism. Kindî has established a relationship between the perfect order in the world and the harmony of the sounds of music and explains the characteristics of music instruments and concepts such as rhythm and tune uni􀁔ue to music art through cosmology, namely celestial bodies, material artifacts and human organisms. In this article, the relation between the musical voices and the order in the world will be discussed in his system of thought.
