HANEFÎ-MÂTÜRÎDÎ GELENEKTE BİLGİ VE İMAN

Özet

Bu makalede İslâm düşünce geleneğinde Hanefî-Mâtürîdî çizgideki düşünürlerin görüşlerine referansla bilgi-iman ilişkisi konusunu ele alınacaktır. Bunu yaparken cevabı aranacak temel sorular şunlar olacaktır: Tanrı’nın varlığını bilmek niçin insanın birinci ve en te- mel görevidir? Taklide dayanarak Tanrı’nın varlığına inanmak niçin doğru bir yol olamaz? Kur’ân körü körüne atalarının yolunu taklit edenler hakkında ne söylemektedir? İnsanın bilgi edinme vasıtaları nelerdir? Duyu-ötesi bir varlık olarak Tanrı’nın varlığını bilmek nasıl mümkün olabilir? Bilmek ile iman etmek arasındaki fark nedir? Bilgi, iman ve güven arasında ne tür bir ilişki söz konusudur?

Abstract

In this article, I shall deal with the issue of knowledge and faith in the tradition of Islamic thought, with special reference to the views of the thinkers on the Hanafi-Maturudi school. In doing so, the main questions to which I will seek answers are: Why is it man's first and most fundamental duty to know the existence of God? Why is it not a right way to believe in the existence of God without proof? What does the Qur'an say about those who imitate the way of the ancestors blindly? What are the sources of knowledge for humans? How is it possible to know the existence of God as a non-sensible entity? What is the difference between knowledge and faith? What kind of relationship is there between knowledge, faith and trust?
