Görsel Sanatlar Eğitimi Öğrencilerin Performans Görevlerine Katkı Sağlıyor mu?

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, görsel sanatlar eğitiminin performans görevlerine katkılarına ilişkin öğrenci görüşlerini betimlemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları; Ankarada bulunan devlet (Samiye Naim Vakfı Ortaokulu) ve özel ortaokul (Bahçeşehir Koleji, Ferda Koleji) 6.7.8. sınıf öğrencileridir (111). Çalışmada araştırmacının geliştirdiği 5’li dereceleme ölçekli anket kullanılmıştır. Anketin cronbach alpha güvenirlik katsayısı .93’tür. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde de, % , f, t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Öğrenci görüşleri; sanatsal ifade, sanatsal bilgi, beceri ve görsel algı, görsel kültür olmak üzere üç boyutta incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin çoğu, görsel sanatlar eğitiminde sanatsal ifade, sanatsal bilgi, beceri, görsel algı ve görsel kültür bakımından öğrendiklerini performans görevlerine yansıttıklarını düşünmektedirler. “Özgünlük ve estetik beğeni”yi yansıtma bakımından kız öğrenciler erkek öğrencileri geride bırakmıştır. Bahçeşehir koleji, diğer okullara oranla üst düzey beceri gerektiren çalışmalarda daha başarılıdır. Bunlar; soyut ve somut ifade, kil, hamur vb. üç boyutlu çalışma, ışık-gölge ve açık-koyu kullanarak üç boyut oluşturma becerileridir. Araştırma bulgularında yola çıkılarak performans görevlerinin etkinliğini artıracak önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to describe the pinons of students’ in the contribution of visual arts education to performance tasks. The participants of the study are 6th, 7th and 8th graders from a state school ( Samiye Naim Foundation Secondary School) and private school ( Bahçeşehir and Ferda Secondary School), based in Ankara (111 in total). A 5-point Likert scale has been used developed by the researcher. The Cronbach’s Alpha reliability coefficient is .93. ın data analysis, percentage, frequency, t test ad one way variance analyses have been employed. The opinions of students have been examined under three dimensions; artistic expression, artistic knowledge, skill and visual perception, visual culture. The results of the study suggest that the majority of the students are of the opinion that they reflect what they learn in terms of artistic expression, artistic knowledge, skill and visual perception, visual culture on their performance tasks. Considering “originality and aesthetic appreciation”, female students are ahead of male students. Bahçeşehir Private School is more successful compared to other schools in topics requiring high-level skills, which are concrete and abstract expression, 3D works with clay, dough, light-shade performances in 3 dimension creation skills. Based on the study findings, suggestion have been put forward to increase the effectiveness of performance tasks
