Abstract

This article discusses the issues and difficulties related to teaching the correct use of Russian prepositions to Yoruba-speaking students in Nigeria. It focuses on the differences of preposition use in Russian and Yoruba and concludes by suggesting strategies to help students overcome this difficulties.
