Initial Assessment for Submissions Article to Journal (Click here for detailed information) As the editorial board, we are aimed to publishing high quality new studies that make a significant contribution within the scope of the journal. In order to meet this aim, submitted manuscripts undergo initial evaluation by editors to ensure that they meet essential criteria for publication in the journal. Only those manuscripts that pass this initial review process, will be continued to other stages for further evaluation. Rejection rate: 80.4% - Acceptance rate: 19.6% (Since the transition to the dergipark system - from 2018) ‘Ankara Univ Vet Fak Derg” endorses the ARRIVE guidelines (https://arriveguidelines.org/) for reporting experiments using live animals. Authors and reviewers must use the ARRIVE guidelines as a checklist, which can be found at https://arriveguidelines.org/resources/author-checklists. Editors reserve the right to ask for the checklist and to reject submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines, to reject submissions based on ethical or animal welfare concerns or if the procedure described does not appear to be justified by the value of the work presented. For systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials, authors should comply with the PRISMA statement, which consists of a checklist and flow diagram. Authors should include a PRISMA flow diagram in their article, and provide a copy of the completed checklist. Amaç
Amaç ve Kapsam “Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi” nin amacı, veteriner hekimliği ve hayvan yetiştiriciliği alanlarında çalışan insanlara uluslararası düzeyde katkıda bulunacak yüksek kaliteli orijinal araştırma makaleleri yayımlamaktır. Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin ilk üniversitesi olan Ankara Üniversitesi’nin köklü dergilerinden biridir. Dergide Veteriner Hekimliğin tüm çalışma alanlarını içeren konularla ilgili araştırma makalesi, kısa bilimsel çalışma, vaka takdimi, editöre mektup ve davet usulü derleme makaleler yayımlanmaktadır. Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi, 1954 yılından beri üç ayda bir yayımlanmakta olup, Nisan 2007 tarihinden itibaren Science Citation Index- Expanded kapsamında yer almaktadır.
