Abstract

Spine procedures was started to be performed in second half of the 19th century. With the time and in paralel to the technological advancement new and more complex spine procedures were performed. Technological advancements allowed development of minimally invasive spine surgery in last 30 years. In this study, history of minimally invasive spine surgery was reviewed.
