Abstract

The main purpose of the anterior implants is obtaining esthetically natural look. For providing this view, the reconstruction of the papillary region and prevention of buccal soft tissue recession is necessary. For generating papilla and enhance buccal gingival thickness, techniques that used only incision while second stage surgery are increasing day by day. The common objective of the incision techniques and flap designs is protect and provide the periimplant soft tissue esthetic. Second stage surgery is convenient time for manipulations of soft tissue. The incision techniques which used in this stage must aid papilla regeneration and buccal tissue growth. In this review we aimed to study the techniques that used second stage surgery for achiving peri-implant soft tissue esthetic.
