Şanlıurfa yöresinde yetiştirilen İvesi koyunlarına ait bazı hematolojik değerler

Abstract

This study was eonducted to examine the some basic haematological parameters of Awassi shcep located in ŞanlıurLı region. The in'estigation was carried out on LO? healthy Awassi sheep aged hetween i-4 years old. Bload samples obtained from the animals. scparated according to age groups. were analysed for leukocyıe (WBC) and erythrocyıe (RBC) eoıınl.s. haemogJ,)bin concentration. haematocrit values (PCV). sedimentation rates and percentages of leukoeyte types. Mean corpuscular '01u11le iMCV). mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH) and mean corpuscular haemoglobin eoncenıraıion (MeilC) were a!.SD ealculatd from the values of RBC, PCV and haemoglobin. Different age groups were assessed by analysis of varıance (One-Way ANOWA) and Dunean's mulıiple range test. These results indieate that blood parameters of Awassi sheep are simılar to the some of blood parameters of Hamdani. Tuj and Morkaraman sheep. Beside this. leukoeyte numbers deereased in parallel wıth increilscd age of miilc /, wassi sheep.
