Abstract
The story of Leylâ vu Mecnûn considered as the most beautiful love story of all time’s Leylâ has been inspired by many poets from classical Turkish poetry to modern Turkish poetry. She has used as mazmun and image in poetry. Turkish poets who benefits from tradition majorly have gived the name Leylâ to woman they describe their poem. Because they have made use of beautiful woman image of female hero Leylâ of the story of Leylâ and Mecnûn in classical Turkish poetry. In this way, they have identified Leylâ with their own life.In this report, after how to handle Leylâ mazmun from classical Turkish poetry to modern Turkish poetry is offered, Mehmet Akif Ersoy’s ‚Leylâ‛ poem will be explained and how to used Leylâ image in this poem will be viewed.
Özet
Bütün zamanların en güzel aşk hikâyesi olarak kabul edilen Leylâ ve Mecnûn hikâyesinin Leylâ’sı klâsik Türk şiirinden modern Türk şiirine pek çok şaire ilham kaynağı olmuş; şiirde mazmun veya imge olarak kullanılagelmiştir. Gelenekten büyük oranda istifade eden modern Türk şairleri, şiirlerinde tasvir ettiği kadının adını Leylâ koyarlarken klâsik Türk şiirindeki Leylâ ve Mecnûn hikâyesinin kadın kahramanı Leylâ’nın güzel kadın imajından faydalanmak ve onu kendi hayatlarıyla özdeşleştirmek istemişlerdir.
