Abstract

In this research 60 myrtle plants (Myrtus communis L.) that naturally grown on the ecologicalconditions of Adana (Karaisalı) and Mersin (Tarsus district, Yanıkkışla region ve Erdemli district)were selected. In addition, coordinates of myrtle genotypes were detected. In these plants somepomological and plant properties were determined. The myrtle plants were examined based on theirfruit weight, fruit length, fruit width, total soluble solids, flower diameter, stamen number per flowerand were found that 0.2-2.01 g, 7.52-16.73 mm, 5.52-14.74 mm, 11.57-29.13%, 19.58-29.70 mm,129-264, respectively
