Abstract
Although the existence of approaches that show that morality is directly proportional to market conditions, which constitute the main field of action of capitalism, is reserved, it has been seen that the relationship between morality and economics is an area that has been discussed more in the literature recently. Morality, in the world of thought; It has been handled as a product of rational, systematic, inclusive and consistent thinking and has a broad meaning framework with these principles. Within the tradition of Islamic thought, the morality of Islam; It is emphasized that the human being is dynamic, has a potential that carries him to the ideal in every situation he is in, is in a state of constant renewal, has an understanding that is far from the feelings of interest, postpones pragmatism and calculates beyond. In modern economic thought, it is not the case that economic doctrines allow or accept rules that will limit them by any authority. In this study, whether the participation finance system's own moral principles (Islamic Ethics) and the moral principles determined in market conditions are reconciled will be examined in the context of the work named Ahlak-ı Alai, written in Turkish by Kınalızâde Ali Efendi (1510-1572), one of the last representatives of Islamic moral philosophy. The studies on this important work of Kınalızâde were examined and it was seen that it was not directly related to the principles of the participation finance system, but rather evaluated in terms of the sources of Islamic economics, and within this relationship, the work was not subjected to content analysis. In this context, the content of this work, which is the source of the morality of the participation finance system, will be associated with the principles of the participation finance system, and it will contribute to the unveiling of the basic texts that determine the principles of participation finance.
