Abstract

Endogenous endophthalmitis (EE) is a condition that requires close and close follow-up, especially in immunosuppressive patients, and requires acute intervention. In cases of sepsis and transient bacteremia, S. aureus, streptococci, and gram-negative rods may cause EE. Salmonella infections from gram-negative rods have increased in recent years. In this case, we planned to present a case of Endogenous Endophthalmitis (EE) due to Salmonella spp, which we rarely see in the literature, following Salmonella septic arthritis in a 23-year-old male patient receiving immunosuppressive therapy.
