Abstract
This paper aims to explain what information architecture is and to inform the readers about the content of the book titled “Information Architecture: For the Web and Beyond”, which is one of the important sources in this field. In the paper, the importance of information architecture for information management departments is also tried to be revealed and the number of departments that include “information architecture” as a course in their curriculums is also mentioned.
Özet
Bu çalışma, bilgi mimarisinin ne olduğunu açıklamayı ve bu alandaki önemli kaynaklardan biri olan "Bilgi Mimarisi: Web ve Ötesi İçin" adlı kitabın içeriği hakkında okuyucuları bilgilendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, bilgi ve belge yönetimi bölümleri için bilgi mimarisinin önemi ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmış, bilgi mimarisini ders progmralarında bir ders olarak sunan bilgi ve belge yönetimi bölümlerinden bahsedilmiştir.
