The Position and Importance of Quranic Recitations According to Experts in Qirāʾāt and Naḥw

Abstract

Grammar and Qurʾānic recitations have an important place due to their close relationship with the Qurʾān. In this sense, scholars have given great importance to these two valuable sciences and paid attention to them. In the study, after mentioning the dictionary and term definitions of the Qurʾānic recitations and the wisdom of the plurality of letters, the attitude of the grammarians regarding the multiplicity of the recitations is mentioned. Thus, the relationship between recitations from the Qurʾān and grammar became manifest. Because the recitations of the Qurʾān have been accepted as the main source for founding grammatical questions and resolving conflicts. As a matter of fact, this research has also revealed that because of the importance they attach to the Qurʾānic recitations, the ulema tended to linguistic studies in order to reconcile the types of recitations with the Arabic grammar. In this context, the opinions of the ʿulamāʾ on the subject according to their different dispositions were discussed and it was seen that experts in naḥw generally tried to show the authentic recitations as evidence in their practices. Next, the effect of naḥwī kind conflicts in tafsir is mentioned. For the description of the text is an explanation of the meaning of that text. This is why any change in the movement of the i'rāb necessarily leads to a change in meaning.

Özet

Arap grameri ve Kur'ân kıraatleri, Kur'ân-ı Kerîm ile olan sıkı ilişkilerinden dolayı önemli bir yere sahiptirler. Bu anlamda âlimler, bu iki değerli ilmi son derece önemsemiş ve onlara özen göstermişlerdir. Çalışmada Kur'ân kıraatlerinin sözlük ve terim tanımlarına ile harflerin çokluğunun hikmetine değinildikten sonra, kıraatlerin çokluğuna ilişkin gramercilerin tutumuna değinilmiştir. Böylece Kur'ân kıraatleri ile gramer arasındaki ilişki tezahür etmiştir. Nitekim Kur'ân kıraatleri, gramatik meselelerinin temellendirilmesinde ve ihtilafların çözümünde ana kaynak olarak kabul görülmüştür. Bu araştırma aynı zamanda, Kur'ân kıraatlerine verdikleri ehemmiyetten dolayı ulemanın kıraat çeşitleri ile Arap gramerini bağdaştırmak amacıyla dilsel çalışmalara yöneldiklerini de ortaya koymuştur. Bu çerçevede ulemânın farklı yaklaşımlarına göre söz konusu konuyla ilgili görüşleri ele alınmış ve nahivcilerin, uygulamalarında genellikle sahih kıraatleri delil olarak göstermeye çalıştıkları görülmüştür. Ardından metnin i'râbı, o metnin anlamına dair bir açıklama olmasından ötürü nahvî ihtilafların Kur’ân tefsirindeki etkisine de değinilmiştir. Dolayısıyla i'râb harekesinde meydana gelen herhangi bir değişiklik zorunlu olarak anlam değişikliğine neden olduğu müşahede edilmiştir.
