Hay and Grain Yields with Some Agricultural Traits of Triticale (XTriticosecale Wittmack) Lines

Abstract
In this study, 60 lines obtained from CIMMYT with Presto and Tatlıcak tritikale cultivars (xTriticosecale Wittmack) were tested in incomplete block design with three replications between 2003-2005 in Samsun conditions. In this research, significant differences were determined among hay yield, grain yield, test weight and thousand kernel weight. According to two years, these values have been determined; hay yield was 638.0-1892.5 kg/da, grain yield 336.00-623.73 kg/da, test weight was 65.95-73.32 kg and thousand kernel weights was 33.00-47.18 g. According to the results it was decieded that 1, 4, 10, 14 and 36 numbered triticale lines were selected to test in the region yield experience.
Özet
Çalışmada, Samsun koşullarında 2003-2005 yılları arasında CIMMYT’den temin edilen 60 hat ile Presto ve Tatlıcak tritikale (xTriticosecale Wittmack) çeşidi eksik blok deneme deseninde 3 tekrarlamalı olarak denenmiştir. Araştırmada, tritikale hat/çeşitlerinde kuru ot verimi, tohum verimi, hektolitre ağırlığı ve bin tane ağırlığı yönünden önemli farklılıklar belirlenmiştir. İki yıllık ortalama sonuçlara göre; kuru ot verimi 638.0-1892.5 kg/da, tohum verimi 336.00-623.73 kg/da, hektolitre ağırlığı 65.95-73.32 kg ve bin tane ağırlığı 33.00-47.18 g arasında değişmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre 1, 4, 10, 14 ve 36 numaralı hatların bölge verim denemesine çıkarılması uygun görülmüştür
