Abstract

Aim: This research carries on a content analysis of the mission and vision statements of higher education institutions at macro (university), meso (faculty) and micro (department) levels in order to reveal expected graduate qualifications of Recreation experts in Turkey. Results were compaired with situation in United States of America.

Özet

Amaç: Türkiye’de Rekreasyon uzmanı yetiştiren üniversitelerin, misyon ve vizyon bildirimlerini, makro (üniversite), mezo (fakülte) ve mikro (bölüm) düzeyde incelemek, bu kurumların hedeflediği mezun niteliklerini içerik analiziyle ortaya çıkartmak, sonuçları Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde yapılan benzer çalışmalarla karşılaştırmaktır.
