Abstract
The Eastern Mediterranean became the conflict scene of the four states (OttomanEmpire, British Empire, France and Russia). The struggle and those four states have beenexamined and compared on the basis of the five parameters. These parameters are geostrategy,technology, human power, politics-diplomacy and economy.
Özet
Doğu Akdeniz 19’uncu yüzyılda özellikle dört devletin (İngiltere, Fransa, Rusya veOsmanlı Devleti) mücadelelerine sahne olmuştur. Bu mücadeleler zincirinde mezkûr devletlerdeğişen formüllerde ittifaklar oluşturmuşlardır. Bu mücadeleler ve devletler beş parametretemelinde değerlendirilmiş ve mukayese edilmişlerdir. Bu parametreler jeostrateji,teknoloji, insan gücü, diplomasi, hukuk ve siyaset ile ekonomi olarak tespit edilmiştir.
