Abstract
I’m this work, the earthquake occured in Erzurum in 1924, and the reflections of the earthquake in the region, and the developments which were experienced by the visit of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, the president of that period are examined.

1924 yılında Erzurum’da vuku bulan deprem, depremin bölgede yansımalarını ve dönemin hükümeti, özellikle de Reis-İ Cumhur Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa’nın bölgeyi ziyaretleriyle yaşanan gelişmeler ele alınmaktadır.
