XIX. YÜZYILDA ERZİNCAN KAZASINDA SALGIN HASTALIKLAR (KOLERA, FRENGİ, ÇİÇEK VE KIZAMIK)

Abstract

Because of its location, Erzincan and its environment have always been one of the religions that natural disasters have frequently been seen. In this study, the course of the diseases of cholera, syphilis, smallpox and measles that are inclueded in natural disasters in the region in XIX. century. The study is composed of two parts. In the first part, the epidemics of cholera; and in the second part the diseases of smallpox and measles are dealt with. As fort he conclusions, the findings that are obtained from the examination are presented under general topics.

Özet

Bulunduğu konumu itibariyle Erzincan ve çevresi tarihin her döneminde doğal afetlerin yoğun görüldüğü bölgelerden biri olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, doğal afetler içerisine dâhil edilen salgın hastalıklardan; kolera, frengi, çiçek ve kızamık hastalıklarının, XIX. yüzyılda bölgedeki seyri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma iki bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Birinci bölüm kolera salgınları, ikinci bölüm frengi, çiçek ve kızamık salgınlarından oluşmaktadır. Sonuç bölümünde ise, incelemede elde edilen bulgular genel başlıklar altında sunulmuştur.
