Suggestions on the Supporting Roles of Secondary Education Computer Courses in German Lesson Contents

Abstract
Today, the prerequisite for being a socially and economically developed country among contemporary societies is not only the education of individuals who know how to use computers but also those who know how to improve themselves to get ready for the information society. The number of studies carried out in Turkey has particularly accelerated since the early 2000s on the areas such as accessing information, being unfamiliar to technological developments, and adaptation of new technologies to our education system. Among these, the FATİH Project has been the most important one in appealing to the broadest mass. This project, which undoubtedly has an essential place in our history of national education studies, has brought about many studies and discussions on areas such as material development, curriculum development, applicability, in-service training on teacher training. The primary aim of this study is to develop materials within the framework of German courses and to propose ideas whose aim is that students benefit from technological opportunities effectively. For this purpose, it was determined that such courses should have a shared study basis with German language teaching courses as a foreign language and suggestions were made about this. Another purpose is to make suggestions for the goal-oriented use of interactive boards in classrooms in German courses via the FATİH Project, which is one of the projects in the Turkish education system, aiming that our students gain effective use of technology. In this way, it is argued that the persistence of the subjects taught in German classes, especially subjects on vocabulary, can be increased, and also listening, understanding, and writing skills of the students can be improved.
Özet
Günümüzde, çağdaş toplumlar arasında sosyal ve ekonomik anlamda gelişmiş bir ülke olabilmenin ön koşulu, sadece bilgisayar kullanmayı bilen değil, kendini bilgi toplumuna hazır olarak geliştirmeyi bilen bireylerin yetişmesidir. Bilgiye erişim, teknolojik gelişime yabancı kalmama, yeni teknolojileri eğitim sistemimize adapte etme gibi konularda Türkiye'de özellikle 2000'li yılların başından itibaren hız kazanan bir çok çalışma yapılmaktadır. Bunların içerisinde en geniş kitleye hitap edeni ise FATİH Projesi olmuştur. Milli eğitim çalışmaları tarihimizde şüphesiz önemli bir yeri olan bu proje materyal geliştirme, müfredat düzenleme, uygulanabilirlik, öğretmen eğitiminde hizmet içi gelişim gibi konulara yönelik bir çok çalışmayı ve tartışmayı da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu çalışmanın öncelikli amacı, Almanca dersleri çerçevesinde materyal geliştirme ve öğrenciyi teknolojik imkanlardan etkin biçimde faydalandırmayı hedefleyen fikirler öne sürmektir. Bu amaçla bilişim teknolojileri ve bilgisayar bilimi gibi derslerde yabancı dil olarak Almanca öğretimi dersleri ile ortak çalışma zemini oluşturulması yönünde tespitler yapılmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur. Bir diğer amaç ise, Türk eğitim sistemi içerisinde öğrencilerimize teknolojinin etkin kullanımını kazandırmayı hedefleyen projelerden olan FATİH Projesi aracılığı ile sınıflarda kullanıma sunulan etkileşimli tahtaların, Almanca derslerinde hedef odaklı kullanımına yönelik önerilerde bulunmaktır. Bu sayede Almanca derslerinde öğretilen özellikle kelime bilgisine dayalı konuların kalıcılığının arttırılabileceği ve bunun yanında öğrencilerin dinleme-anlama ve yazma becerilerinin geliştirilebileceği savunulmaktadır.
