Socio-Political Development and Environmental Indicators

Abstract

Socio-political development; in terms of social, economic and spatial characteristics; İt is defined as the level of providing basic services such as education, health, infrastructure, communication, transportation, housing and environment above the minimum standards. There are different evaluations of socio-political development. We can categorize them in two groups as subjective and objective. Approaches based on personal evaluations are defined as subjective approach, and approaches based on scientifically measurable data are defined as objective approach. Although different results have been obtained in the studies carried out to measure the development, there is a consensus that the necessity of subjective indicators should not be less than objective indicators. İn this direction, the indexes used by international organizations, international companies and national organizations in socio-political development measurements are introduced. The literature review method was used to determine the indices. Environmental indicators, which are evaluated under the concept of socio-political development, are examined within the scope of integrated social policy

Sosyo-politik gelişmişlik; toplumsal, ekonomik ve meka nsal o zellikler açısından; eg itim, sag lık, altyapı, iletişim, ulaşım, konut, çevre gibi temel hizmetlerin sunulma du zeyinin, asgari standartların u stu nde olması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Sosyo-politik gelişmişlig e ilişkin deg erlendirmeleri o znel ve nesnel olarak iki grupta kategorize edebiliriz. Kişisel deg erlendirmeler temel alınarak gerçekleştirilen yaklaşımlar o znel yaklaşım, bilimsel açıdan o lçu lebilen veriler temel alınarak gerçekleştirilen yaklaşımlar nesnel yaklaşım olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Gelişmişlig in o lçu lmesine yo nelik gerçekleştirilen çalışmalarda farklı sonuçlar elde edilse de o znel go stergelerin de gereklilig inin nesnel go stergelerden daha az olmaması yo nu nde go ru ş birlig i bulunmaktadır. Bu dog rultuda çalışmada uluslararası kuruluşlar, uluslararası şirketler ve ulusal kuruluşların sosyopolitik gelişmişlik o lçu mlerinde kullandıkları endeksler tanıtılmıştır. Endekslerin belirlenmesinde literatu r taraması yo ntemi kullanılmıştır. Sosyo-politik gelişmişlik kavramı altında deg erlendirilen çevre go stergeleri bu tu nleşik sosyal politika kapsamında incelenmiştir.
