MALIYE BÖLÜMÜ ÖĞRENCILERININ YAŞAM DEĞERI YÖNELIMLERINI OLUŞTURAN FAKTÖRLERIN BELIRLENMESI ÜZERINE BIR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

A RESEARCH TO DETERMİNE THE FACTORS COMPRİSİNG THE LİFE VALUE ORİENTATİONS İN THE STUDENTS FROM DEPARTMENT OF PUBLİC FİNANCE On the assumption that the students of Department of Public Finance may have the common values of life, this study aimed to determine what are the values of life of students and tried to determine the impact of education on these values. It is based on ten values of life identified within the framework of the values theory developed by Schwartz (2006). A questionnaire form has been applied to class 1 and 4 students (n=1382) from the Departments of Public Finance at Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of 24 universities. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 20 statistical packet program. According to the results of the analysis, statistically significant differences were found in life value orientations between class 1 and 4 students of Department of Public Finance. These differences were recorded in openness to change and self- enhancement

Özet

Maliye Bölümü öğrencilerinin ortak yaşam değerlerinin olabileceği varsayımı üzerine, çalışmada maliye bölümde okuyan öğrencilerin yaşam değerlerinin neler olduğu belirlenmeye ve maliye eğitiminin bu değerler üzerindeki etkisi saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kuramsal olarak, Schwartz (2006) tarafından geliştirilen değerler teorisi çerçevesinde belirlenen 10 yaşam değerine dayanmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacını gerçekleştirmek için Üniversitelerin (24 üniversite) İİBF Maliye Bölümlerinde okuyan 1. ve 4.sınıf öğrencilerine (1382 kişi) yönelik anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 20 paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Buna göre 1. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin yaşam değerleri arasında istatiksel anlamda bazı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Bu farklılıklar; değişime açıklık ve kendini geliştirme değer tiplerinde görülmüştür
