Türkiye ve Almanya’daki 9. Sınıf Coğrafya Ders Kitaplarının Öğretmen Görüşlerine Göre Değerlendirilmesi / Eveluation of the 9th Grade Geography School Books in Turkey and Germany by the Views of Teachers

Ö Z E TBu çalışmada, ülkemizde 2005 yılından itibaren liselerde uygulanmakta olanCoğrafya Öğretim Programı doğrultusunda hazırlanmış 9. sınıf coğrafya ders kitabıile Almanya’da liselerde (Gymnasium) 9. sınıflarda okutulmakta olan coğrafya derskitabı karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Türkiye’de Gaziantep İli’ndegörev yapmakta olan 149 coğrafya öğretmeni; Almanya’da ise NRW (NordrheinWestfalen) eyaletinde Düsseldorf kentinde görev yapmakta olan 48 coğrafyaöğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır.Öğretmenlere uygulanan anketlerden elde edilen veriler, fizikî boyut, içerikboyutu, öğretme-öğrenme boyutu ve değerlendirme boyutlarına göretablolaştırılarak yorumlanmış, t-testi ile de karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırmasonuçlarına göre, Türkiye’den örnekleme dâhil edilen öğretmenler, MEB coğrafyaders kitabı hakkında daha fazla olumsuz görüş belirtmişlerdir. Elde edilen bulgularışığında bazı önerilerde bulunulmaya çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Coğrafya, coğrafya eğitimi, coğrafya ders kitabıAB S T R AC TIn this study, the geography book for 9th grade students which is applied in highschools since 2005 and prepared in the direction of Geography Teaching Programis compared with the 9th grade students geography book in high schools(Gymnasium) in Germany. The sample of the study consist of 149 geographyteachers serve in Gaziantep using the book of Ministry of National Education; inGermany NRW (Nordrhein Westfalen) 48 geography teachers serve in Dusseldorfof Nordrhein Westfallen State. The study is quantitative. Datas gathered from thequestionnaires conducted to the teachers are interpreted by after being evaluatedand tabulated according to their physical, content, teaching-learning andassesment dimensions and are also compared with t-test. According to the resultsof the study, the teachers, who included in sample stated more negative viewsabout the MEB (Ministry of Education) geography school book.
