Abstract
Chronic kidney disease which is at the top of the group of noncommunicable chronic diseases, can be stopped and/or slowed down if it is detected early and timely action is taken. When the progression of the disease cannot be prevented, it causes socioeconomic and sociopsychological problems that negatively affect the functioning of all systems. At the same time, the disease and its complications lead to an increase in health care costs in countries. There are many risk factors that affect kidney health and even vary according to the level of economic development of countries. This review includes national and international action plans to prevent risk factors that cause the development of kidney disease.
Özet
Bulaşıcı olmayan kronik hastalıklar grubunda ön sırada yer alan kronik böbrek hastalığı erken tespit edilip zamanında önlem alınırsa ilerlemesi durdurulabilir ve/veya yavaşlatılabilir. Hastalığın ilerlemesi önlenemediğinde tüm sistemlerin çalışma-sını olumsuz etkileyen sosyoekonomik ve sosyopsikolojik sorunlara yol açmaktadır. Aynı zamanda hastalık ve komplikas-yonları ülkelerin sağlık sistem giderlerinin artmasına da neden olmaktadır. Böbrek sağlığını etkileyen ve hatta ülkelerin ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeylerine göre çeşitlilik gösteren çok sayıda risk faktörü bulunmaktadır. Bu derlemede böbrek hasta-lıklarının gelişimine neden olan risk faktörlerinin önlenebilmesi için ulusal ve uluslararası eylem planlarına yer verilmiştir.
