«TAVARIKH-E BULGARIYA» («THE BULGAR CHRONICLES ») BY HUSAIN AMIRHANOV AS IMPORTANT SOURCE OF TATAR HISTORY

Abstract

In article it is told about a little-known source for scientists turkologists – the book «Tavarikh-e Bulgariya» («The Bulgar chronicles ») to Husain Amirhanov. This book has been published in Kazan in 1883 and became the first work in which attempt of the scientific approach to the presentation of history not only of the Volga Tatars, but also many other Turkic peoples living in the former Russian empire.
