Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the attitudes of physical education and sports teachers towards the profession, the level of benefit for leisure time involvement and recreational activities. The population of the research consists of 97 physical education and sports teachers working in the province of Bartın in the 2018-2019 academic year, while the sample group consists of 84 (65 male and 19 female) physical education and sports teachers. Personal information form prepared by the researcher, Attitudes towards Teaching Profession Scale (TAMS), "Leisure Time Involvement Scale (SCIÖ)" and "Recreation Benefit Scale" were used as data collection tools in the study. Bu çalışmanın yapılmasının amacı, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin mesleğe yönelik tutum, serbest zaman ilgilenim ve rekreasyon faaliyetlerine yönelik fayda düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Bartın ilinde 2018-2019 eğitim - öğretim yılında mesleğini icra eden 97 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği oluştururken, örneklem grubunu ise 84 (65 erkek ve 19 kadın) beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu, Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (ÖMYTÖ), “Serbest Zaman İlgilenim Ölçeği (SZİÖ)” ve “Rekreasyon Fayda Ölçeği (RFÖ)” kullanılmıştır.
