Knowledge of Producers in Pesticide Application and Environmental Awareness in Spraying: Case Study in Tokat Central District

Abstract
One of the necessary measures to protect the productivity of agricultural products is to use plant protection products. For this purpose, 95 plant producers selected randomly from the villages of the central district of Tokat province were interviewed. It has been observed that the producers are in the working population and do not receive training other than compulsory education. It has been determined that manufacturers are affected by pesticide use in drug dealers. It can be said that they do not take any protective measures during agricultural spraying. It has been observed that the producers, who think that the use of pesticides is not harmful to the product, spend very high prices financially. It has been observed that they are not aware of the harm they cause to the environment in the disposal of the pesticides they use. As a result, it can be said that manufacturers have very little knowledge on pesticide use and after use. As a suggestion, the pesticide application and post-application information seminars of the relevant institutions and organizations will carry out conscious practices.

Tarımsal ürünlerin verimliliğini korumak için gerekli tedbirlerden biri de bitki koruma ürünlerini kullanmaktan geçmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Tokat ili merkez ilçeye bağlı köylerden tesadüfen seçilen 95 bitkisel üreticiyle görüşülmüştür. Görüşmeler sonucunda, üreticilerin çalışabilir nüfus içerisinde olup zorunlu eğitimin dışında eğitim almadığı gözlenmiştir. Üreticilerin pestisit kullanımında ilaç bayilerinden etkilendiği belirlenmiştir. Tarımsal ilaçlama sırasında kendilerini koruyucu bir tedbir almadıkları söylenebilir. Pestisit kullanımın ürüne zararı olmadığı görüşünde olan üreticiler maddi olarak çok yüksek fiyatlar harcadığı gözlenmiştir. Kullandıkları pestisit ilaçlarının atıklarının imhasında çevreye verdikleri zarardan haberdar olmadıkları gözlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak üreticilerin pestisit kullanımında ve kullanım sonrasında bilgilerinin çok az olduğu söylenebilir. Öneri olarak ilgili kurum kuruluşların pestisit uygulaması ve uygulama sonrası bilgilendirme seminerleri düzenlemesi bilinçli uygulamalar gerçekleştirecektir.
