EXAMINATION OF THE CASE OF MIGRATON IN THE FRAMEWORK OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC VULNERABILITY: CASE OF CANAKKALE PROVINCE

SOSYAL VE EKONOMİK ZARAR GÖREBİLİRLİK ÇERÇEVESİNDE GÖÇ OLGUSUNUN AFET YÖNÜNDEN İNCELENMESİ: ÇANAKKALE İLİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Due to the fact that our country has an important place on migration routes due to its geographical position, the ongoing internal turmoil in neighboring countries has brought Turkey to a different point in irregular migration events. Also, after the economic crisis in 2001, our country has started to be seen as a target country with the positive developments in many areas of life, the increase in the standard of living. This characteristic of the country is also reflected in the place. Canakkale province is geographically transit city due to its proximity to EU member countries; economic, education, health and other conditions in terms of increasingly developing region because it is the target city. In the study, the vulnerability analysis based on the social and economic variables of the province of Canakkale and the crisis of immigration were analyzed. In general, it is considered that the city has a positive effect in terms of vulnerability and the city, which means social and economical problems that may be experienced in migration, will conceal it.

Özet

Ülkemizin coğrafi konumu itibariyle göç yolları üzerinde önemli bir yere sahip olması, komşu ülkelerde devam eden iç karışıklıklar Türkiye’yi düzensiz göç olaylarında farklı bir noktaya taşımıştır. Ayrıca 2001 yılında yaşanan ekonomik krizden sonra yaşamın birçok alanında yaşanan olumlu gelişmeler, yaşam standartlarında meydana gelen artış ile birlikte ülkemiz hedef ülke olarak görülmeye başlamıştır. Ülkenin bu özelliği yerele de yansımaktadır. Çanakkale ili AB’ye üye ülkelere yakınlığı sebebiyle coğrafi olarak transit şehir konumundayken; ekonomik, eğitim, sağlık ve diğer şartlar bakımından da giderek gelişen bir bölge olması sebebiyle de hedef şehir konumuna gelmektedir. Çalışmada Çanakkale ilinin sosyal ve ekonomik değişkenlerine göre yapılmış olan zarar görebilirlik araştırması ile göç olgusuna karşı ilin afetselliği analiz edilmiştir. İlin geneline bakıldığında zarar görebilirlik anlamında olumlu etkiye sahip olduğu ve göç konusunda yaşanabilecek sosyal ve ekonomik olumsuzluklar anlamında şehrin bunu tolere edeceği düşünülmektedir.
