A FAMOUS TEACHER OF FAMOUS FOLLOWER: NIYAZKULI HALIFE AND ABU NASR KURSAVI ( Brief review of publications)

Abstract

Sheyh of Mudjeddids-Nakshbendists Niyazkuli Halife at-Turkmeni (?-1821) came from Eastern Turkmenistan and hold a high post in Buhara emirat. He began and always supported the reformation in Muslim education system. Thereby, he with A.Kursavi and with his other followers prepared the favourable ground for origin the Jadid movement in future, spread in the beginning of the twentieth century to the several sides of the social life of Tatar, Turkmen and other Turkic people.
