Abstract
Tuqay is truly national poet. But, according to the famous writers, scientists, he belongs not only to Tatars, but also all Turkic world. His poetry has exerted a great influence on formation and development of the Bashkir, Kazakh, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Karakalpak and some other poets of the Turkic world. Major factors of a phenomenon of Tuqay, his place and role in destiny of Turkic literatures are covered in article of professor H. Yu. Minnegulov.
