Abstract
Case: A 27-year-old systemically healthy male patient was admitted to our clinic with complaints of mobility of the teeth of the right lower jaw and bad breath. As a result of clinical and histopathological examination, the mandibular right posterior lesion was diagnosed as eosinophilic granuloma (EG). Thus, further investigations revealed femoral, vertebral, and pulmonary lesions. Conclusion: An EG showing its initial findings in the jaws can be diagnosed by dentists. EG cases in the jaws should be examined for multiple tissue and organ involvement. Accurate diagnosis is very important for appropriate treatment planning and prevention of complications.
