On the Geometric Design of the Operating Principles of Navigation Systems

Abstract
In this study, the theory of plane elliptical and hyperbolic conic sections is emphasized on the spherical surface. The relationship between planar and spherical cone sections is shown with the help of projective projections and projective designs are given. Finally, Omega Navigation System, which is one of the most important known usage areas of the peripheral angle theorem on the sphere surface, is introduced and explained with its geometric designs. All figures in this study were created with Open Geometry [1] and named with Corel Photo Paint.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, düzlemsel elips ve hiperbolik koni kesitleri teorisinin küre yüzeyi üzerindeki halleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Projektif izdüşümler yardımıyla düzlemsel ve küresel koni kesitlerinin arasındaki ilişki gösterilmiştir ve projektif tasarımları yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, çemberde çevre açı teoreminin küre yüzeyi üzerindeki bilinen en önemli kullanım alanlarından biri olan Omega Navigasyon Sistemi tanıtılmış ve geometrik tasarımları ile açıklanmıştır. Bu çalışmadaki tüm şekiller Open Geometri [1] ile oluşturulmuş ve Corel Photo Paint ile isimlendirilmiştir.
