Özet

Ulu şair, düşünür, çevirmen, halk ve devlet adamı Abay; eserleriyle Kazak ve Türk Dünyasında rehber ve kılavuzluğuna günümüzde de devam etmektedir. Israrla “Gılım tappay maktanba” (Bilim olmadan övünme) derken bilim ve bilginin insanın bedenen; edebiyat, sanat ve müziğin de ruhun gıdası olduğu üzerinde durur. Abay bu yönüyle mükemmel bir pedagog, kusursuz bir öğretmendir. Abay’ın sanat ve şairlik gücünü anlayabilmek için öncelikle aldığı eğitim, yetiştiği ortam ve dil ve düşünce olarak beslendiği kaynakları iyi analiz etmek gerekir. Bu yazıda Abay’ın sanat ve edebi kişiliğinin arka planındaki düşünce dünyasının gelişmesindeki ortam ve özellikler üzerinde durulacaktır.

Abstract

The works of the great poet, translator, and thinker Abay continue leading role in Kazakh and Turkish literature to this day. In his famous poem “Gylym tappai maktanba” (Bragging without science), he relies on the fact that science and knowledge are the human body, and literature, art and music are the food of the soul. From this point of view, Abay is known as a great teacher, a talented mentor. To understand the power of Abai's art and poetry, it is necessary to first analyze the education that he received, the environment in which he grew up, and the main features of the formation of language and lively thought. In this article, special attention paid to the peculiarities of the development of the thinker's worldview in the context of Abay's artistic and literary personality.
