DRG And Quality - Performance Relationship: Country Experiences

Abstract

Since 1983, especially in developed countries, including reimbursement of health care services for use in the DRG implemented based financing systems in general; “Enhancing Transparency, Efficiency and Hospital Administration Supporting Ensure” aims objectives. 1983 yılından bu yana başta gelişmiş ülkelerde olmak üzere sağlık hizmetlerinin geri ödemesinde kullanılmak için uygulamaya konan TİG’e dayalı finansman sistemleri genel olarak; “Şeffaflığı Artırmak, Etkinliği Sağlamak ve Hastanelerin Yönetimini Desteklemek” amaçlarını hedeflemektedir. TİG uygulamasını sürdüren ülkeler ortalama kalış süreleri, yatak sayıları, ortalama vaka maliyetleri gibi göstergelerde performans ve kalite artışı sağlamayı başarmışlardır.Sonuç olarak klinik ve maliyet verilerinden hareketle daha adil bir finansman sistemi sağlayan TİG, ayrıca sağlık alanında rol alan aktörlere yol gösterecek demografik, tıbbi ve maliyet verilerini de sunmakta ve çok fonksiyonlu yapısı ile uygulama yapan ülkelerde TİG sistemleri sürekli genişletilmekte, diğer ülkeler ise özellikle maliyetlerin azaltılması, performans ve kalite artışları üzerine olumlu etkisi olan TİG uygulamasını kendilerine adapte etmek için uğraşılarını sürdürmektedirler
