STUDIES FOR THE PATHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS AND STRUCTURAL RESTORATION OF THE BARDIZ MOSQUE IN ERZURUM

Abstract

During the restoration work on the structural interpretation of the meaning of the structural system, material condition of the determination made for the protection of our cultural heritage has a very serious matter.Structural restoration has various bases, material, geological determination, monitoring and structural analysis. In this case of study, we tried to determine the geological and material problems of the ‘Bardız Mosque’ by using georadar and monitoring the whole structure.By using 3D finite element analysis model, we could verify the main problems of the super-structure and methods for conservation could be decided
