Abstract
The Mediterranean region is one of the most popular regions of Turkey, especially in terms of tourism and agriculture sectors. This study is important in terms of the investigation of employment with respect to their industry ve evolation of demographic characteristics of employment. Comparisons of data on employment in Turkey with those of the Mediterranean region have been provided, and the region has been compared with the average of Turkey.
Özet
Akdeniz bölgesi Türkiye’nin özellikle turizm ve tarım sektörleri açısından en gözde bölgelerinden birisidir. Çalışma bu sektörler başta olmak üzere sektörel açıdan istihdamın incelenmesi, istihdamın demografik özelliklerinin değerlendirilmesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Türkiye’de ki istihdama ilişkin verilerin Akdeniz bölgesiyle olan karşılaştırmalarına yer verilerek bölgenin Türkiye ortalamalarıyla kıyaslanması sağlanmışıtr.
