Abstract
The philosophy of the Middle Ages includes the transitory period between the Antiquity and the modern times. As a matter of fact, it is not possible to demarcate the period with strong lines. In spite of this demarcation, it is prudential to define the turning points as the new philosophical investigations arisen from the previous thinking and paradigm shifting amidst the scientific comprehensions and approaches. The actual development of the Middle Ages philosophy dates from the 11th century and it evolves in 15th century by flourishing with the influence of both Christian and Islamic thinking. In this article, we will focus on the existing influence of the Middle Ages philosophy over the Christian world by combining it with the patristic philosophy and scholastic thinking.
