Özet

- Industrialization has caused changing of production and consumption habits. The rational solution proposal coming with technology has brought serial production together with economic and speed concepts. The concept of 'trend', which is defined as the concept of consumption that determines the tendency of consumption of the society in the sense of the word, is confronted as science, technology, sociology, economy and many other . Besides, it continues to exist with mass culture by influencing fashion, design, current, art, architecture, clothing industry and furniture. In the context of this study, the trends that emerged as a result of the Bauhaus movement after the industrial revolution were discussed through design products. Reflections on the furniture designs are discussed by examining the new discourses which are contrary to the modernism-based Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts trends.
