Measuring The Economic Dimension Of Corporate Sustainability With Promethee Method: An Evidence From Tupras Company

Abstract
Nowadays, the companies gives importance to the concept of sustainability because they provide competitive advantages and prevent the destruction of the environment. In general, institutional sustainability is to take into account the environmental, economic and social dimensions of enterprises' sustainability in their production processes. In this study, the sustainability of TÜPRAŞ operation was examined over the years and the results of the analysis are listed by years. The aim of this study is to analyze the economic dimension of the sustainability of TÜPRAŞ by years and to reveal the importance it attaches to sustainability. In addition, this study is important in terms of understanding how much importance they give to the sustainability of energy companies in Turkey. In the analysis covering the years 2008-2015, sustainability in the direction of economic data was found to be the highest year in 2015. The other years have been investigated as to why it is low.
Özet
Günümüzde işletmeler hem rekabet avantajı sağlaması hem de çevrenin tahribatını önlemesi nedeniyle sürdürülebilirlik kavramına önem vermektedirler. Genel olarak kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik, işletmelerin üretim süreçlerinde sürdürülebilirliğin üç unsuru olan çevre, ekonomik ve sosyal boyutlarını dikkate alınmasıdır. Bu çalışmada, TÜPRAŞ işletmesinin sürdürülebilirliği yıllar itibariyle incelenmiş ve analiz sonuçları yıllar itibariyle sıralanmıştır. Bu çalışmada ki amaç, TÜPRAŞ şirketinin sürdürülebilirliğinin ekonomik boyutunun yıllar itibariyle analiz edilmesi ve sürdürülebilirliğe verdiği önemi ortaya koymaktır. Ayrıca Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren enerji işletmelerinin sürdürülebilirliğe ne derecede önem verdiklerinin anlaşılması bakımından çalışma, önem taşımaktadır. Bu kapsamda TÜPRAŞ’ın 2008-2015 yıllarını kapsayan analizinde, ekonomik veriler doğrultusunda sürdürülebilirliği en yüksek çıkan yıl 2015 yılı olarak bulunmuştur. Diğer yılların ise neden düşük çıktığı araştırılmıştır.
