Özet
Çalışma kapsamında kıyı alanlarındaki endüstri mirasının kentsel yenileme projelerinde kültür endüstrisi bağlamındaki potansiyeli ele alınmıştır. Bu çerçevede araştırma sahası olarak belirlenen İstanbul kentinin Haliç suyolu bölgesi ve arka alanındaki endüstri mirası incelenmiş ve kentsel yenilemeye konu olmamış fakat olası kentsel yenilemede tetikleyici rolü olacağı düşünülen yapı ve alanlar ortaya konulmuştur. Bölgenin kentsel yenileme potansiyelinin yüksek olduğu ve olası kentsel yenileme çalışmasında dönüşümü tetikleyeceği öngörülen Unkapanı Un Fabrikası, Kasımpaşa Un Farikası, Tersane-i Âmire ve Azapkapı Perşembe Pazarı bölgesinin kültürel kimlikleri ortaya konulmuştur.
