Why Does The Problem Of Evil Not Prevent Faith?

Abstract
The problem of evil is one of the most striking problems of philosophy. The conflict between God’s eternal goodness and also infinite power and the evil in the world has always left a question mark. There are three general types of evil, natural, moral and metaphysical. To defend God against all kinds of evil, a variety of theodolites and defenses have been made so far. Nevertheless, because of the problem of evil, there are many people who deny or doubt God. For the effort to reconcile God with evil has never come to the convincing level. In this study, we will talk about the nature, scope and types of evil and the powerful problem of evil problems that have been proposed so far, as well as the herodism and defense attempts to solve this problem. But the main difference of this study is to indicate why the problem of evil cannot be solved and to show that this problem does not prevent the faith.
Özet
Kötülük problemi, felsefenin en dikkat çeken problemlerinden biridir. Tanrı’nın sonsuz iyiliği ve sonsuz gücüyle, dünyadaki kötülüklerin bağdaşmaması insanlarda hep bir soru işareti bırakmıştır. Kötülüğün doğal, ahlaki ve metafizik olmak üzere üç genel türü vardır. Kötülüğün her çeşidine karşı Tanrı’yı savunmak için bugüne kadar çok çeşitli teodiseler ve savunmalar geliştirilmiştir. Yine de kötülük probleminden dolayı Tanrı’yı inkar eden ya da şüpheye düşen çok insan olmaktadır. Zira, Tanrı’yla kötülüğü uzlaştırma çabası ikna edici seviyeye hiçbir zaman gelememiştir. Biz, bu çalışmada hem kötülüğün mahiyetinden, kapsamından ve türlerinden hem şimdiye kadar öne sürülmüş güçlü kötülük problemi versiyonlarından hem de bu problemi çözmeye çalışan teodise ve savunma girişimlerinden bahsedeceğiz. Fakat bu çalışmanın asıl farkı, kötülük probleminin neden çözülemediğini belirtmek ve bu problemin iman etmeye engel olmadığını göstermektir.
