Abstract
It is important that health care providers working in intensive care units properly evaluate intensive care patients and their families, as well as them- selves, in terms of communication and relation- ships. This leads to good communication, effec- tive health services, satisfactory work and increased life quality of the patients

Yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan sağlık elemanla- rının kendileriyle birlikte, yoğun bakım hastasını ve hasta ailesini iletişim ve ilişkiler açısından de- ğerlendirebilmesi önemlidir. Böylece iyi bir iletişim kurulabilir, sunulan sağlık hizmeti etkin olur, yapı- lan işten doyum alınır ve hastaların yaşam kalite- sinin artması sağlanır
