Characteristics of Patients with Pressure Wound in the Intensive Care Unit

Abstract
To determine charachteristics of patients with pressure ulcer in ICU. M a -t e r i a l a n d M e t h o d s : Descriptive and retrospective studies in type 01 January 2008- 01 January 2009,a total of 1074 patients were scanned files. It determined that 113 patients developed pressure ul-cers created sample. As data collection tool form, patient diagnostic, Braden Risk Scaleand APACHEII score was used. R e s u l t s : 61% of patients with pressure sores were identified as male and mean agewas 62.4 years. 59% of the pressure sores (n = 67) was found to improve the intensive care unit. Pres-sure sores in the sacral area and is most seen in the Phase II level. C o n c l u s i o n : It was determinedpressure ulcers in sacral area and most seen in the second degrees.
