Abstract
There has been substantial change in political and economic field in the World during the last quarter of 20th century. The social policies and social services of the countries have been affected by this change. Within this framework, new policies have been developed in recent years in Turkey regarding disabled people in need of care. Home care and service purchasing from special care centers are the foremost among those policies
Özet
Dünyada 20. yüzyılın son çeyreğinde, siyasal ve ekonomik alanda önemli bir değişim yaşanmıştır. Bu değişimden, ülkelerin sosyal politika ve sosyal hizmetleri etkilenmiştir. Bu çerçevede Türkiye’de de son yıllarda bakıma muhtaç engellilere yönelik yeni politikalar geliştirilmiştir. Bu politikaların başında evde bakım ve özel bakım merkezlerinden hizmet satın alınması gelmektedir
